We all sit here and squeak. I will bet the same lame losers are voted in. Wait for the presidential election, that will be a good scary one. Since I am in a halloween mood, I'll say the 2 scariest words. Hillary Clinton

Unions are great... They brought you the 40 hour work week, health benifits, pensions, Social Security and, get this one, "The Weekend"... Don't be fooled into thinking Unions are bad for you, they force corporations into providing for their employees. Without them, you get what we have had for the past six years....... Think people, think.... ;-)

Great idea. But, will the unions agree or will they keep subsidizing them?

Democrats and Republicans, petooey! They are both garbage! Anyone in office should be thrown out to send a message to the political scum that we have had enough.
I think it has become trendy on both sides to come out and admit their gayness to hide other crimes. Foley and McGreevey are two names I can think of. Then we have a senator from Massachussetts who is from a family of rapists and alcoholics.

I've literally gone into the voting booth and vote against every incumbent. It looks like I may have to take that approach again.

You can Make a Difference If you want to help, cut and paste the following prepared statement in an e-mail to the incumbent politicians in your respective State and district.
Contacting Your Local Government It is easy to contact your local government officials, many have their email addresses or mailing address listed for just this kind of feedback. Although there are many online resources for contacting local officials, we chose the website below because it is so easy to use!
Click the link below to find the contact information for your local government official (the website opens in a new window). http://www.webslingerz.com/jhoffman/congress-email.html
Copy and paste the text below and let our politicians know we will no longer sit idle while they ignore the wishes of the American citizens that put them into office. text deleted
Dear sir or madam, we feel that elected officials no longer respect the opinions of those who elected them. Recent bills introduced and or passed by both the Congress and Senate on the issue of illegal immigration are proof that politicians are not voting in the best interest of the legal Americans in America. We feel That your votes have placed Americans at risk by passing legislation that allows illegal immigrants access to social services and Social Security benefits. We have determined from information on Government websites that our politicians have voted to fund programs that provides free legal service to any Immigrant legal or illegal so that they can more successfully access those benefits.
We are aware that legislation is on the agenda that when passed AFTER the election will provide amnesty for nearly 20 million illegal immigrants now in this country and more coming. We feel that this vast influx of illegal immigrants will cause a financial crisis in every state and upon the already overburdened tax payers of America. Recent news has revealed that both parties are exploring strategies to gain the majority of the votes of these illegal aliens when they receive amnesty and thus the vote. We know that these bills could never have passed except the majority of our elected officials endorse them. Further very few if any that might have voted against this legislation have had the intestinal fortitude to publicly stand up against them!
Therefore I have joined the AMERICANS LAST STAND movement and our mission is to vote against every incumbent on either side of the aisle.
Our intent is to send a message to every politician in America–we want elected officials that will vote in the best interests of Americans!

I agree! We need to give politicians the message and the way to do that is to continue to vote out the incumbents until we get rid of corruption!
A good website is: http://www.tolkienentmoot.com/NJGRIPHOME.htm
This website informs you of who the incumbents are in your district.
Politicians are supposed to represent us, not themselves! Make sure you get out and vote. The deadline is in a couple of days to register to vote!

I would love to GRIP - but we have to get New Jerseyans to actually CARE - and not just "put up with it".
Of course the other question is, who would we elect to replace them all? Can't be just anybody!

NZW29Y,
That's precisely the goal of GRIP. We need to spread the word and get rid of all of these pigs feeding from our tax money trough.

You think Republicans are going to be any better on corruption?
Wow you forgot about Gov Whitman. 200 million plus on EZPass just to be torn down and redone when she left.
Both parties are corrupt. Maybe people should start looking at 3rd parties. That is the only way to solve anything. Brand New People. Look at Gas. We are in an oil state and pay more for gas than NYC.

I agree - GRIP = Get Rid of Incumbent Politicians!
And with the fiasco with the delayed recovery efforts down in New Orleans, I bet a Democrat gets voted into the White House next time.
